Those are like 4.50 where I'm from. You're paying for the Doritos branding. Totally not worth it. You can get the same result from buying a regular taco and putting about a half a teaspoon of salt on it

I had a burger from DQ once and it had so much gristle in it.
Never got a non-frozen treat item from them again.

>Totally not worth it
very much so, but truly, these days, is ANY of it?
do you guys REALLY want the secret to making your own?
Ok, against my better judgement, here it is:
get a package of cheap, store brand taco shells, a 1 lb. chub of the cheapest ground beef you can find,(Aldis FTW,) apacket of TB taco seasoning, a bag of shredded lettuce, and a bag of Sargento or the finest shredded cheddar cheese.
Final Item...
>pic related
put those taco shells in a gallon ziplock bag, dump in the kernel seasons, and GENTLY turn the bag around every which way until all the shells are coated.
Then follow the directions for the taco meat,(extra corn-thenticity points for adding up to 70% re-hydrated TPV granules to the taco meat,) then assemble at will.
Not only will your fat ass be able to accomplish something on your own for once, but you sloptards will be able to use up those extra pouches of TB sauce that have been competing for space with the carmel color, "SOY SAUCE" pouches in the junk drawer, and/or chiller drawer and/or shielded butter shelf.
sure, you could also get some of the other add-ons like nacho cheese sauce,(dollar store carries cans that just need to be activated by simmering on the stove for an hour,) or pico de gallo, which just be purchased at the grocery store anyway--(let's face it we already went too far assuming you guys would dump a TB pouch into a pan of browned ground beef.)
as disparaging as this post seemingly is, I'm being 100% serious. Kernel seasons tuned tricuits, corn chips and even plain potato chips in their "Flavor Blasted" counterparts.
I IMPLORE you, be careful...
t. hasn't eaten at TB for over 20 years.

Absolutely.
I also love how apparently either they put so little of it on there items like onions, tomatoes and red cabbage(??) have ZERO calories.
>40 calories for chicken add-in
What would that be...like, ONE little ½''cube of it
Seems like food trucks would make a killing if they charged fast food prices and let you go full-blown garbage burger with free toppings.

I think he was commenting on how even in massively overpriced New York, you can get a much better taco for $3, not claiming that Only NY had authentic tacos, Tex.

I still see a line of cars at my local taco bell drivethru. At this point I think Taco Bell could get away with $5 tacos, maybe even a $15 burrito, just put a dorito chip in it or something.
