Let's talk about snacks. Doesn't have to be healthy. What's your go-to snack?

For me it's arare. Rice crackers seasoned with nori. Especially good mixed into popcorn at the kinoplex.

OP are you a bot? Will you ever know the greatness of snacking on some ciabatta dipped in olive oil and garum with cracked pepper?

i like those little rice crackers as well
my favorite snack is berries - strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries. after that, apples and oranges are good, maybe a banana.
other than that i like trail mix without m&ms

There's m&ms in trail mix? I thought it was the same as "student feed" in Switzerland which is just various nuts and dried fruits, occasionally with toasted oats/granola.

Well, I live in America and that's not what we give our kid as trail mix. He gets whatever dried fruit and unsalted nuts/seed kernels we bought recently, usually on the cheap, mixed together. He hasn't had any in a while but I distinctly remember the last one had red raisins (not dried cranberries), apricots, cashews, pumpkin seeds, blueberry flavoured cranberries (which the missus was against buying because they're sweetened and blah blah blah), prunes and almonds. I remember it because it was basically all the shit that goes into jewelled rice (less the cranberries)

I've recently been finishing my dinner with a couple of Digestive biscuits spread with blackcurrant jam. Its the most amazing cheesecake tasting hack without even cream cheese.

I do plan on adding cream cheese at some point. Maybe it will need mixing with icing sugar.

My local Safeway was selling some arare yesterday marked down 75% off because nobody here would like such things.
Anyway, they're curry flavoured and my family and I agree that they're the best fucking rice cracker thingies we've ever had. They're inexplicably called "crunchy mochi snacks" or something like that and the company who makes them is called something like SunTropics or someshit.
I'll get to the kitchen later to check the packet. Despite how good they are, I would not pay $4.50 for a 100g/3.5oz packet but a buck-ten seemed more than fair.
The package also suggests putting them in salads as if they were croutons.
I thought /snack/, arare edition would like to know.
