I just dumped a can of corned beef and hash in a pan, along with an egg. Is this a proper meal?

Together? You're supposed to fry the hash in the skillet, then cook the eggs separately.

I guess that works, but hash takes about 15 minutes to cook, you're egg will be done in like 2 minutes.

I honestly can't tell the difference between this brand and the Great Value/Always Save brands.

i always see that meat spread around but never tried it, i gotta get some now since i bought ritz for no reason yesterday

The difference for me is that I have go to Walmart for great value brand, for Ritz I can get that across the street from where I live. Another thing with Walmart is that I never quite know what they have in stock, it's a mystery.

The funny thing is that the chicken one is pretty good, the other ones imo aren't too good. When I was a kid I used to make little mini snacks for lunch with ritz crackers and the chicken spread stuff.

My local grocery store has discount brands, so I can avoid having to go to Walmart.

>> No.20364658

My local Ralphs has their store brand which is like whatever, but it's not THAT much cheaper. So if we want to be economical, we have to drive all over creation to buy produce at one store, meat and fish at another, and pantry staples and other less perishable stuff at a third. It's super annoying and usually we don't bother, which is why we're dropping $200 a week on groceries.

I'm 99% they come out of the same factory, it's effectively identical. The only reason I get the name brand is when a sale is going on and it ends up being cheaper than the store brand stuff. Recently went to meijers and they were on sale for 2$ a can if you got five or more, you better believe I loaded up.
