The ones with "ventresca" have one of the best cuts from true tuna, its considered a delicacy in Portugal, Spain and France and rightly so, the meat comes from near the belly of the fish, its firm and at the same time very juicy and full of flavour, it wont crumble when you chew it and it wont be dry, it goes very well with sliced tomato, pinch of salt and oregano and a speckle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
A 120 grams can can go up to 10€ alone, its high quality stuff.

This anon is correct.

Brisling sardines are actually sprats.

In Britain - Pilchards are fully grown sardines but many Med countries just call them sardines anyway.
Brisling sardines (or sprats) are more like small herrings.

Tastes fine but even chinese people are cautious of it since it has a lot of chemicals. So make with that information what you want.

I recently realized these are great with just some soy sauce. I prefer them this way over tomato or spicy sauce.
