At what age did you finally discover the splendor of carbonated water? Since I was 21 I've drunk it almost every day, it's my main beverage.

Probably about 5th grade.

I used to drink it a lot but then I started to notice it made me feel nauseous sometimes because it's a little bitter. I mostly just drink milk now and only drink water if I've eaten a lot of salt.

I was looking to make my own carbonated water at home. I think I’m going to get a “soda siphon” that uses rechargeable canisters. Any anons have experience with this?

I'm an RN.
We use that stuff to clean the teeth and mouth of patients because it not only cleans but also stimulates saliva production. It's not gonna burn out your chompers like you were smoking meth.

I bought a sodastream terra a few months ago. I used to buy 24 packs of perrier and honestly idk if the sodastream is cheaper but it's way more convenient and less trash because of reusable bottles. I get about 30L of very bubbly water per canister and each canister is about $30. You do get a $15 rebate for sending back two used canisters but it seems like a pain in the ass.

I've got one of these things. You fill a standard soda bottle with water and put the cork on, screw a Sodastream gas container on it, twist slightly to let the gas in, and shake the bottle to dissolve it. Repeat a few times to build up the carbonation. Haven't had any problems in the five or so years I've owned it, aside from a little leaking if the cork isn't on tight enough.

Nice. Though I've sort of switched to topo chico, way more gassy which i like, though easier to stock up on those big bottles.

Badabing badaboom, tasty healthy beverage. I lost quite a bit of weight since it replaced all soda consumption
