What are some cheap, easy to prepare and transport foods that do not require heating nor any dishes to eat? I'm getting tired of just eating sandwiches.

A what now?

Those don't exist in my country, and even if they did, they would be too expensive.

Not a bad idea (I love deenz), however, it would really stink up the place (and my fingers!).

Salads are pretty easy. They also make salad + sandwich containers so you can do salad and sandwich type combos.

If you want to fully turn off your brain, just order FACTOR or other frozen meal options. Nuke it at work - hot food that varies and isn't a sandwich. Toss the container when done.

Soups and stews can be brought in thermos containers. They make various sizes, both plastic and metal wall vacuum thermos containers, just plot some hot stew or soup in them, seal em up and tote em to work.

Freeze dried meals are functional too if your workplace has a coffee machine with a hot water tap on it for tea.

You can also do adult lunchables by packing crackers, salami & ham slices, and cheese slices, perhaps with some veg on the side.

You can also learn the art of bento and pack a bento for yourself in the morning, but that shit is not easy to prepare.

Make a burrito and wrap it to go. Wrap em up in foil or parchment. Great for adding rice and beans to your sandwich assembly options.

>do not require heating
If you are working on some sort of job site and have zero access to a microwave, consider MREs. Full meals, heater included, just requires water to heat and make the drinks. Includes coffee and a beverage base. Can be eaten cold too, just a little more miserable. Includes the spoon you need for everything. MRE bag is it's own trash bag.

These are $135 for 12, or $11.25 a meal from Amazon. Cheaper than PEAK freeze dried at $13, but more expensive than MH at $10ish. You aren't getting a full meal from a fast food place for cheaper. Factor and other meal services usually run in the $12-18/meal range depending on your order size.
