Is it really that much better than American pizza? Looks good, but not that much better than what I could make at home

Italians will say yes. Americans will say no.
You're all faggots.
They both have their merits. Not everything is a competition. Fucking faggots

italian-american dual citizen here (this makes me the most qualified on the matter and >nb4 some calls me terrone) both styles of pizza have their time and place, shit like midwest deep dish, frozen pizza and chain garbage really drag down american pizza overall to well below what pizza you'll find in napoli. that said, a delicious football pizza from the momnpop shop on the corner or a well-sought nyc slice can rival any pizza on the planet. it comes down to dough quality and so many american cities lack the tap water to make really good pizza.

But I can make Neapolitan pizza at home, get fucked

Seeing as the tomato is native to America, it's correct to say that pizza comes from America, and Italy created an inferior knock-off, but at least it led Americans to rediscover the original American pizza.

In the states? Yeah probably. In many parts of yorup or east asia? Tap water actually clears a lot of the time.

I like the one I got because it can fit two 12in pizzas at once very easily and is also light enough to move around by myself as I frequently take it to friends houses, my parents, or extended family to make pizza for the people I care about.

There's lots of mediocre pizza in both Italy and the US.
The best Italian pizzas are stupendous, true GOAT class. If the best US ones are of similar quality, get them officially recognized as national treasures.

It's pizza. Americans have cheese quiche.
