Generally it is expensive...which of course is also relative considering swiss salaries.
But, say buying all the parts to build a new computer? We did a comparison on >>>/int/ like half a year ago, Switzerland had some of the cheapest hardware prices globally...the comparable German makes like half I do, but still pays at least the same in that regard.
However, meat is also really expensive here.
