I got in shape years ago by just stopping carbs and eating vegetables and protein, planning every meal. I didn't have any carb withdrawal whatsoever, it was very easy.
But now I tried it again and it's so much harder. Something has changed for much worse.

Tips? Plan ahead, by in bulk and cook in advance couple of times a week.

avoid any products marketed towards ketards, source your stuff from normal foods and just skip carb stuff, replace with more fat instead

if your goal is literally ketolard go ahead
if you just want a ketogenic diet cheese slices work a lot better...

Butter and/or coconut oil in your coffee is great.

you can still put milk in your coffee on keto

I don't add milk to my coffee, keto or not. But I loved butter and/or coconut oil when I was on keto. Might start doing it again even though I'm not on keto.

Don't try to go straight in with keto cereals, keto bread and so on. Pricy, easy to have too much fiber, and make it harder to get used to not having carbs all the time. You can use them as a treat once in a while

Keep it simple with meat, cheese, eggs, and non-starch veggies.

Decide on a couple quick snacks you can keep at the ready. When I worked at a restaurant the easy access to ready to eat bacon was a godsend. When I wasn't a little cream cheese with stevia and cocoa powder helped tamp down the urge to seek out sweets.
