I think mexican food is overrated. Its just different combinations of beans, spices and rice, only thing separating it is what or meat gets used.
Brazilian cuisine is better.

You’re describing Tex-mex. Same ingredients with European yellow cheeses.

The way someone cooks or even what someone cooks in Sonora isn’t going to be the same thing or same way as it’s cooked in Vera Cruz. Even the spices used will be different. I don’t walk in to a Boston Deli looking for Texas Barbecue. So be specific when talking about Mexican food.
