A year or two ago they uncontinued Starburst in Australia due to poor sales. I would buy a bag once or twice a year and always loved them, recently they had this berry variety which was a nice way to change it up.

Anyway, for Christmas last year I had my mother send me two bags of Starburst from Merricka. One family size bag of original and one of "reds only". It was glorious and probably ruined measurable amounts of my enamel, but damn they was good.

Not starbursts, but like them... I think about these fruit chews that came in big blue bags around 2010. I don't remember if they were the old Jolly Rancher chew formula or if it was a different brand, but they only came with blue, green, and red squares. I miss them. I can't even find a photo of the bag on the internet.

I like getting the minis. You get a wider variety of flavors, and it works for convenience: I carry candy around in pill bottles, you see, and it lets me take little treats on the go, so the lack of wrappers and the variety are quite the boon for that method. That being said, I don't like getting them too often, as for some reason I feel myself become sick or just some variety of "off" with Starbursts that I don't get with equivalent amounts of other taffy candies.

They have partially hydrogenated soybean oil so they have trans fats. I stay away from them. Not big on candy in general though.
