You should try making Pastitsio sometime, it's a Greek version of lasagna with different spices. It's got Fall flavors, it's really comfy and nice while not being all that different from lasagna fundamentally.

My favorite food would have to be thai basil with minced chicken. Put a fried egg on top too.

Greek food legit sucks and no one would go for this before lasagna unless they literally just ate a whole party lasagna by themselves for three days every day, every meal

I made pastitsio once. My wife loves it so I made it for her. It was a huge pain in the ass as to make. However, even though I hate pasta and casseroles, it turned out really good. If it weren't for the PITA part I would make it more often.

I'll admit i have moussaka way to little. It's better than lasagne, the more oil, the merrier.

>>20146615
It might be a greek pasta, but it's still pasta so there's no need to put pita in it

Same. I remember a time when my country was obsessed with lasagna, every restaurant had it. Now it's shitty kabab.

You haven't tried it so idk what your point is. It's got a different flavor profile from lasagna, it's just a fun twist on the concept to try sometime. If you want to share that the only food you eat in this thread is grilled cheese sandwiches, so that's your favorite food by default, be my guest. But otherwise fuck off unless you've actually tried Pastitsio.
>>20146615
That's nice. I don't remember it being much harder than a lasagna.

Pastitio isn't difficult to make, it's just a pain in the ass. Make the pasta. Make the meat. Make the sauce. Do all the chopping and prepping. Put it all together, bake. Clean up. If you make a big pan and maybe freeze some it's totally worth it. Not something I'm making wednesday night after work.

I don't have a favorite food but I'm always hungry and trying to lose weight is really depressing me because food and videogames are the only things I still enjoy in life, and this is not from not doing other things but because other people are fucking unbearable so I just avoid them now.

My favourite food is actually freshly baked white bread, baguette, maybe with a little butter. I discover that health wise, I feel better when I eat meat instead of carbs, but taste wise, if I'm going to die in a few hours I won't bother with steak and lobster as a last meal, I just want fresh baguette with butter.

Lasagna is top-tier when it's done right. You have good taste, Anon. My favourite food is probably Thai red curry, or iced cream.

Try eating meat with fat, but avoid sugar, limit carbs, avoid vegetable seed oil. When you eat meat in its fat you'll feel full and you'll stop eating, but with carbs you don't feel full and you keep eating.

This shits all over moussaka in my opinion. I ordered it on a whim in a Greek place on holiday once and it was pretty fucking delicious. Annoyingly the one good Greek restaurant near me doesn't have it on the menu so for a while I started to question if this thing even existed.
