Put them in a ziploc bag and beat yourself over the head with them.

Won't it just cook the outside and leave the middle frozen/raw?

Put a raw egg on it

If you cook it for the same amount of time as a thawed burger. Cook it over lower heat for a longer amount of time. I think frozen burgers need about 8 minutes per side at medium temp for well done. You could also cover it during cooking to trap heat and cook faster.

you got some proper hints with the ziploc bags and wet socks. you just have to connect the dots. beating yourself in the head with them is not part of the answer btw.

When I was a line cook, if we needed to thaw them quickly, we'd drop them in the fryer foe 30ish seconds.

Freeze hamburger in sandwich bags aiming for 1/4". Doesn't really need to thaw but bag can be placed in water to speed it up.
After cooking it's the perfect size for regular bread.

Cook at low heat with a lid on the pan. I used to cook salmon fillets from frozen in about 20 minutes, can't imagine a burger would be too different.

Put them on a grill and cook them. They are intended to be cooked from frozen.
