I make my morning coffee. If I’m working a double shift I bring a Monster Java Mean Bean with me. Sometimes I have a Red Bull (original). That’s literally it though. At max I will drink 2 a day and most days o don’t even drink it. I have it on Amazon subscription and get it ever so often. The winter is nice because the shit stays cold like a walk in fridge. I’m about to start snacking on liverwurst (pork and duck because I can’t find beef) it’s rich in complex B vitamins so hopefully energy drinks are a thing of the past soon.

i don't drink a lot of them, usually about half a can when i need a caffeine boost, so i basically just buy whatever's on sale. it's usually rockstar. i usually get the "recovery" versions because they tout the inclusion of some ingredients that are meant to not be totally shit for you but i do understand what i'm drinking is shit for me regardless.

if i were to buy on taste alone i'd get red bull, but of course, it's the most expensive brand. i don't really care in any case, whether it's caffeinated tea, coffee, espresso, or energy drinks, i basically just consider it a caffeine delivery system.

My grandmother lived to 103 on 5 cups of coffee a day. I like to make an iced coffee in a thermal carafe in teh AM. I sip it all day, and might add a small can of starbucks double shot to top it off.

According to the website, Red Power is only 160mg now. No idea why, but several of their flavors used to be around 200mg while others were 160mg but now they've standardized on 160mg for all of them. Maybe the military asked them to tone them down a bit since so many of them drink it.What's funny is that it's made by the same company that makes pic related.

nta, but it's got a ton of caffeine. we liked it in our house because it wasn't overly sweet, so ymmv. we switched away out of necessity, but still had a few laying around, the wife tried one again recently and said it was too sweet, I think they're fine but I still drink soda from time to time and she definitely does not, so there's the context.

During lockdowns I experimented with various drinks during hour long morning runs (~600ml). Monster's energy / electrolyte sports drink hybrid had me feeling the best for the rest of the day. Water had me wanting to go straight back to sleep, Powerade somewhere in between. Not dead, but not energised.

These days I lift and night, so tiredness is fine.

500ml redbull no sugar. I stopped drinking monster after they WENT WOKE! I enjoyed a couple of documentaries that were funded by redbull so when monster spat in my face and redbull refused to get political, I switched. I don't know if that's still the case but I don't care anymore.
The fact that it tastes like battery acid decreases the number of energy drinks I consume, so it's beneficial in that regard.
