You literally just add in cayenne pepper among other things to the batter before you coat and fry the chicken. Makes it look a little redder like what Liru has there and it's delicious.

Around 2006/7 in the UK KFC did “Hot Shots” It was basically 3 large popcorn chickens on a skewer, but they actually had some decent heat to them. I must have ate like 50 of them while they were out. Then they disappeared. This deal seems cheap as fuck now, I don’t think you’d even get a Zinger Burger for that price today

I can confirm the spice conversation. I live in Japan, spicy is hard to find. The source of my standard is Mexican food from Mexico. The only things here that I have eaten that are spicey at all are the max level spicey "adult" foods, Korean food, and Chinese food. Even then, the Chinese food was toned down from the usual. It was harder to find spicy food near Rosario, Argentina, though.

Probably because their target audience doesn't go there. Blacks around here go to Church's or Popeye's if there isn't some local joints they like. Plus, they would have to have a 4 trays just for the different kinds and 2 different double fryers. 1 for regular, 1 for extra crispy, 1 for spicy regular, and 1 for spicy extra crispy just for the regular breast, wing, thigh, and drums.

The other two places only have crispy so they can do regular and spicy(still not spicy) while having plenty of room for a shitload of chicken.
The local joints here that cook made to order are there and you can pick spice levels that'll burn your ass for 2days but the wait times are long, they're way more expensive(think $4+ just for a leg), and there are long ass lines. But people seem to like them so they can charge whatever they want.
