Here's a Domino's pizza that I got years ago when I was fucking some Egyptian chick. she wouldn't let me get any pork products on the pizza. eventually she wanted me to convert to her religion but I refused so we broke up.

pizza was good though

My sourdough was used for bread this week. I wanted pizza but I did not want to wait a day.

That's a $9 carryout pizza plus tax plus 0% tip (still triggered they charge for changing the sauce now)
I wouldn't bring you a pizza for $8.50. You should consider yourself lucky you lazy fuck.

Are you bitching about food prices again because you didn't put in any effort to looking for good deals, or are you trying to say this was a good deal? Because that's not a good deal. I get pizzas 4 times that size with actual toppings for around the same price every so often. You spent $20 on what is essentially a frozen sized plain cheese.

Ex dominos driver and not that but will shake the fuck out of your soda and not cut the pizza except for the cheese so it looks cut. Some people would do worse. Its like that for all food delivery. Better off tipping for sure

They didn’t even give the option to tip anywhere on this platform. They just mentioned 3 dozen times that delivery “charges” were not a tip and DID NOT go to the driver.

The delivery fee apparently goes to paying for the supply trucks that keep the locations stocked. Weird right?
Call it a "delivery fee" is basically a scam to make people think it has something to do with having their food delivered. That line of "delivery fee is not a tip to your driver" is basically something they put there so they can cover their ass and say "no, see, we told them it's not a tip"
That's why all of these places increased their delivery fee or introduced one during/after covid. Supply became more expensive so they had to cover that. Even though the overall effect is that people see an extra $4.99 tacked onto their bill and think "well I can't afford to tip now so fuck the driver I guess, he's probably just DoorDash"
they're trying everything they can to phase out drivers and just use 3rd party delivery services so they can just pass the buck to all the 3rd-worlders who don't give a shit and will forget your garlic sauce. Then when the customer calls to complain they can just say
>oh sorry we use a 3rd party delivery service it's out of our hands
>no we can't send you a remake for free because doordash won't take $0 orders
>sorrrrrrrry, so soorrrrrryyyy :)

across the entire fast-service sector these companies are seeing what McDonalds is doing and desperately want that for themselves
>raise prices and have people not notice or not care
>"just download our app that's how you get the good deals"
>with increased prices they can afford to eat the loss on 3rd party delivery fucking things up
>people are becoming accustomed to 3rd party delivery fucking things up and just expect it
>"use the app and come pick it up yourself" :)
new normal that they all desperately want to achieve

drunk, sick, lazy, or they just need the convenience because they're hosting a party or something
You're doing their work for them by saying "just go pick it up"
