It’s not worth the diversity meme but there’s easily accessible authentic food made with fresh ingredients in most places in this country. I recently went out for some delicious squid ink fettuccine, and I could drive 10 minutes in either direction for some mole, birria tacos or lengua

Here in 'murica all the non-chain, mom n' pop restaurants buy their oil, flour, and sugar from grocery stores. Most notably the ones with the biggest warehouse style shelves. That way they're practically buying it wholesale. One local diner owner buys orange juice by the gallon from the local kroger. Store brand, too.
