You mean this type of stuff? Idk my mom made this once for cinquo di mayo and i thought it was okay. I just don't get why they make tacos vertical, you have to like tilt your head sideways to eat it then the stuff falls everywhere when the shell breaks. Also why don't Mexicans melt the cheese? >>20067285

Guacamole is nice. The seafood is also good, but it’s nothing special compared to substitutes you find in other warm, coastal countries.
A lot of Mexican food is pretty much like sick with cheese on it. So that’s no good.

I love Mexican food. I dated a girl from Durango for many years. Mexican food and beer are god tier. Caldo de pollo is one of my favorite dishes. Mexican food is very simple but satisfying and could eat it almost everyday. Real Mexican food is nothing like the American goyslop variety.

I don't know if it really qualifies as Mexican food, but my idea of a decent meal is a large can of refried beans and a heaping bowl of oatmeal for dessert.

>> No.20069927

When I was little I used to take a can of refried beans, shredded cheese and Jalapenos. Mix them all together and nuke in the microwave. Actually pretty good desu.

They actually have cans of refried beans with jalapenos nowadays. You'll still have to add the cheese, though.
I like it when canned food has spicy peppers in them, because then I can consider the whole reheating thing optional. Doesn't really hurt to add a little extra fat to a lot of canned items, though.

love it
I also love thai and chinese food (real chinese food, not panda express shit ) but is really hard to find here in memexico. Last time I ate it was in Los Angeles. First time I ate real Chinese food was in L.A at La Plazita. You would go in to this little restaurant, pick your live lobster and they would cook it in a black bean sauce and serve you steamed riced bread. So fucking good.

Latinx-Mexicans cut hot dogs into little rounds that look like thick meat coins. It’s because six people have to share one hot dog so everyone gets a couple of hot dog coins with their beans.
