Weird recipe. I cut the spines off, peel the skin then remove just the dark green part and put it in my vitamix. Then I slow simmer it for about 5 hours. Then I run it through a muslim cloth and reboil the pull for another 1 hour or so. Combine the two and simmer it down to about 100ml, then add a little but of raspberry cordial and gulp it.

Then I lay on my bed and try not to spew for about 1.5 hours then I rush to the toilet and spew it all out and then the trip really gets going. And going and going man mescaline lasts for fucking ever.

Can you describe some of your experiences and how it differs from other psychedelics?

>> No.20035675

>>20035608
Shrooms last a lot shorter. Lsd is medium. Mescaline the longest.

Shrooms is more psychological and kind of dark and earthy, lsd is visual + mental and more controllable. Mescaline lasts very long but is quite upbeat and more positive and very sort of digital feeling as opposed to the organic feeling of shrooms. I don't know how to describe it. It's laid back. Lsd comes in peaks and waves, Mescaline is sort of just this constant. Less psychological than shrooms more recreational. I always thought it's kind of like taking lsd but less visual + add like some opiates. Makes you puke though.

Sorry psychedelics are hard to describe. It's like this extremely altered headspace but even if you aren't full on having visuals you're still extremely 'altered'. Time feels off, everything looks different, you get lost in things.

Oh I found this video before
>https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3BxiYkCPZwI&t=55s&pp=ygURc2hyb29tIHNpbXVsYXRpb24%3D

It's pretty accurate for shrooms visually. But honestly most of the affects are especially the altered mental state which can't be simulated. All your thoughts, perception of time, ideas, sense of self and body, relation to the world it's all extremely altered. Your sense of being a body in a world with a stable sense of self goes away, all normalcy is gone. Psychologically it can be terrifying because there's nothing normal to cling to. Your entire relation to the world and what you are isnalso altered so if you panic you can't be like, thinking to yourself like self talk to calm down, because there's nothing really there anymore to do it. It can be horrific.

Words don't really do it justice.

NTA, No--but same active ingredient.
It's said that the San Pedro was the original cactus that was used as a sacrament, not the peyote, but due to impending drug legislation trying to make it a controlled substance, it caught all the media hype instead.
Makes sense, as San Pedro would be much more likely to have it's properties discovered because of the likelihood of being eaten for the water content.

Never done pure mescal but 2CB is the fucking bomb.
It's very visual and has a south american / tribal / earthy kind of vibe.
Shit takes forever to kick in if you're unlucky but you know the saying. Good mescaline starts out slow, the first hours it's just waiting. Then you started cursing the creep who sold you this stuff because it's not working. And then it happens, ZANG.

Figuring from the amount of cacti OP is about to consume i'd say he's about to meet his ancestors one way or the othee.
