been trying to save cash eating cooked a cup of rice with 2 eggs in the rice cooker and added ketchup and hot sauce but it just tastes so bland, is a cup a lot of rice to make at a time?

I guess I could serve it with soup or something

what's your food budget. Give me something to work with, you gimp

IDK I'd prefer to keep it 3 or 4 bucks per meal.

Just going off my gut, adding a $1 cup of store brand beans would have probably made the rice taste not as dry and add more fiber

mix soy sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar in a pan to make a cheap sweet and sour sauce. if you already have eggs and rice you honestly may as well make fried rice though.

A cup of rice is like 200 calories, just add spices

Should I mix them up before I add water?

It is not. You can stir fry the leftovers the next day

you could easily do fried rice for that budget, start with some not-too expensive meat, throw in half an onion, let it heat for a while, then add the rice and eggs. meal and two leftovers. green onions if you're fancy, peas if you're lazy.
