I've been drinking since 11 am today.
It's my day off from work.
I got up at 9:45 am to go to a Drs appointment at 10:30 am. Then I went to the store and bought some 9.5% imperial stouts from Great Divide and some other strong beers too.
I got home around 11 and I been drinking ever since bros!!

Currently drinking jack and diet cokes. Thoughts??

What're you guys drinking. It's Friday!!

Drinking doesn't even make me feel good anymore, just slow and dumb

Holy yikes, this hit me.
I constantly notice this every day, always fucking forgetting where I left things, what I was about to do, why I walked into a room, etc.

I'm only 26.5. Drinking still makes me feel really good though. I go to bed blasted every single night.

I haven't had any alcohol since late June of this year. I took a drink one Friday night, after a week of way too much stress from work, not exercising, and eating lots of shitty stuff like fruit jams in huge quantities, and as soon as I started feeling the drink I came down with a horrible case turbo aids that made me sicker than shit for a week, with another week of slow recovery...

Lost my sense of smell, which took nearly 4 months to come back, lost my sense of taste for a few days, and on the last 4 days of the sickness I had the worst sore throat of my life by an order of magnitude.

In addition to not having any drinks, I have only eaten one jar of jam since then, a jar of cloudberry jam I saw at ikea which I got just to see what the berry tasted like. I can't drink alcohol or eat jam now because I associate them with that god awful sickness.

I'm in rehab for alcohol abuse right now OP.
Drank everyday for 10 years, always driving drunk, doing nothing but go to work then come home and get fucked up.
I'm 27 so still young, still got my licence, no health problems.
I wanna get this shit sorted out then stop being a depressed piece of shit and become a rockstar billionaire and fuck every hot woman on earth. And if that's not gonna happen I can still drink myself to death.

Depends on your symptoms I think. Most of the time I have vomit trailing up my throat and extreme nausea. Have to sleep on my side for like 6 extra hours with my arm pressing into my small intestines to alleviate any of it. Thanksgiving was rough this year and I don't think I have recovered yet
