Today I brewed a pot of coffee with 8 scoops of Cafe Bustelo. I drank the entire thing over the course of several hours. I have been on the toilet three times so far. Is this normal? I'm also very antsy/restless, am sweating, and feel anxious.

I'm sitting on the toilet right now kinda constipated. I managed to poop out a single big turd but I feel like there's still more coming.

Yeah, sounds like a mild caffeine overdose. Drink plenty of water and ot should pass with time. Don't do this again.
>8 scoops
How much is that in grams? Does the package say how many grams in 1 scoop?

>>19954111
If your constipated drink more water and move around. Don't stay seated on the toilet if nothing is coming out. Get up, chug some water, and go for a short walk.

OP here. This isn't me. I was not constipated at all. It made me very loose.

1 heaping tablespoon could be anywhere from 6 – 9 grams depending on grind size and how much the heap was. So you consumed somewhere around 50g – 70g coffee beans worth of caffeine. Arabica coffee beans are around 1.5% caffeine by weight. Let's say you extracted only 1%. You consumed around 500mg – 700mg. Most health agencies recommend 300mg – 400mg caffeine per day for the average healthy adult.
