Do skinny people eat slower, and do they do it conciously? Will I naturally start taking smaller bites/put less on my fork as I lose weight?

>> No.19922382

Habits come before changes in weight.
If you eat slower you'll give your body more time to process that it's full, meaning you naturally eat less and will lose weight.

I did notice that what >>19922382 holds truth. I was eating tendies with fries and usually I could scarf it + extra.
But lately I've been eating slower and taking my time and saw that I couldn't finish the same menu.
What I saw was that I subconciously was eating fast, like I was in a food contest, so for now it's a concious effort, but I'll get used to it so it becomes subconcious.
Good luck OP

In my case no, because I wolf my food down as fast as possible in order to get back to what I was working on.

I can put away 10 cans of lager every day and basically inhale food, but remain skinny because I only eat once a day usually. It's not speed that is the problem, it's frequency and quantity. Also if you're not getting the right nutrients from what you're eating it will leave you unsatisfied and craving more.

Not gorging your meals like you were a starving dog may help, yes.

No, I'm skinny and I hoover up food like a wood chipper. What's important is
>not eating snacks
>not eating desserts
>not drinking sugary high calories drinks
>just generally avoiding sugar and processed shit

It depends. Most skeleton people I know have way faster metabolism than me. I get fat just by looking at carbs but on the plus side I gain muscle and sports are for me.
Have you heard of the three basic body types????

>> No.19922717

Newly pudgy here.
I started eating more and moving less than when I was thin (I'm 1m85/6ft1 and weighed 59kg/130lbs in school; I got dinner muscle while at uni and now I'm fat in my 30s at 88,5kg/195lbs lmao). I started eating a more American-or-Anglo-style meals with everything served on one big plate at the same time rather than in courses on smaller plates.
I don't think speed had much to do with my weight gain. I think that it's more that after having a small plate of something, I either couldn't be fucked to get more or simply felt satisfied vs having a big plate of something and eating it all, if that makes sense. Portion size changed basically is what I'm saying and coupled with my exercise growing less common, weight gain was inevitable. So just move more and have smaller portions.

no, they just eat less.

Start smoking and develop a chronic negative attitude, you will naturally eat less without having to try.

I'm kinda slow, but I'm guessing that what you are trying to say is that some people are skinny because they eat less food and exercise more than fat fucks, right?

Their daily consumption of calories does not exceed recommended amount. Simply put they do not consume 6500 calories everyday.

I've lost 110lbs (320 -> 210 @ 6'4") over the last year and and a half and I still crush plates as fast as humanly possible
Maybe if I maintain this weight for a few years my habits will change but I've been fairly restricted the last few months on calories and I still eat at the same speed.
