it’s ok
it’s overpriced for the level of quality and portion size
also the entrees are boring

At that point just get pasta from Pizza Hut or Domino’s. It all came off the same Sysco truck.

I can't justify paying $20 for something i can make at home for $4 so i just eat ridiculous amounts of salad and breadsticks since I'm not going to make those at home.

Expensive food shit staff multiple cases of restaurant goers receiving stds from food at local garden

I go to a little family restaurant in town with a bunch of Americana comfort core cuisine and random splatters of austrian-german and Greek food too. They aren't a pasta place and don't have a ton of Italian food, and yet the $19 creamy Cajun shrimp and chicken combo penne is better than anything I've ever eaten at Olive Garden.

This is correct. They've severely limited the options to only the most boring dishes that they can execute with the smallest number of ingredients, while at the same time jacking up the price to crazy levels. Basically fast food quality at 2-3 times the price

it's not
this is the third time i've seen a thread like this within the last 30 days. the consensus is that olive garden's entrees are ass. their soup, salad, and breadsticks are edible.

It's like eating in the private kitchen of a delightful Italian stereotype.

When I was around middle school age I'd go with my family and that was my brother's go-to. I was more of a chicken giardino guy.
My dad would also take an empty plate and make them fill it up when they came around with this thing. Simpler times.

I GO TO THE SUBMARINE SANDWICH RESTAURANT AND I LEAVE MY SUBMARINE SANDWICH VALUE CARD AT HOME

Towards the end of my Italian grandfather's life, this was his favorite place to eat because, in his words, "it's the one place where no one I know will recognize me"

If you just get soup and salad it's OK
Definitely something wrong with their red sauce recipe

I feel embarrassed when I try reading the menu because I don't know Italian.
