I don’t drink much wine and my knowledge of wine is nonexistent. My mom loves red wine and I wanted to look for a nice quality bottle to gift her for Christmas. I do not know where to begin and all the Google search results yield these shitty blogs and food network. Does anyone know where a good place to start is? I know which wines she likes, so if there’s a way to search for similar taste profiles then that would be helpful as well.

What kind of wine does she like, and what is your price range?

She really likes the Justin wine from CA, especially their cabs & cabs in general. She also really liked a blend called "consiglere" from a vineyard that closed, I am not sure if they themselves made it or if it was a special brand, i've yet to find it anywhere online.

Price limit probably like $100 if you think that's a good range for a really high quality bottle. I should also mention that I live in PA so it's hard to get alcohol, but I can still place a special order through the stores.

might be better off just giving her the money to use how she wants. I always have more shit that I want, even 3-4 bottles down the line I'm making plans and shifting the order of desire.

Wrong place to ask.

Channers typically don't like normie shit, and alcohol is as normie as it gets. Plus it makes you age faster.

Find Bolla wines. They're Italian, reasonably priced, and delicious. Buy her a bottle of chianti, valpolicella, pinot noir, bardolino, and cabernet sauvignon. All reds. All delicious. Cost around 10-15 bucks a bottle and should be found in most large markets or booze shops.

I'm here to shill Oregon wines. Cristom, Bethel Heights, Adelsheim, and Dobbes are some of the top wineries to look for. The Willamette Valley produces the best pinot noirs in the world

I got a referral for naked wines in the package that my sex toys were shipped in, and I've grow to like them. I believe they only ships in the US though, and they ship by the case although they let you mix and match what bottles. It might help.

And go with something sweet. Most women prefer sweet wine for drinking and save the dry stuff for cooking. Get her a berry wine, or maybe a dessert wine.
