Im the same way OP, but I've learned to just give up anything that isn't liquor. For whatever reason, even just regular ass beer will make me feel like shit while giving me an instant head/stomach ache. It's like skipping to the hangover with none of the fun of being drunk. It's likely all the additives and corn syrup, but even the expensive and pretentious microbrew small batch whatever the fuck beers (including local and small brands) do it too.

Meanwhile, I can drink bottom shelf 10 dollar vodka out of a plastic bottle without even getting much of a hangover while also achieving/maintaining the buzz easier. For the price of a four loko I've got enough liquor to last me a while, and honestly the taste isn't even that good for being such a syrup infused can of dogshit.
