That's a fairly small amount of thyme for an average-sized person, I'd say? The main reason thyme spills so fast is that there isn't much density to it, the particles are relatively small, a kind of "special relativity" you might say. I wouldn't WANT to clean up the double spilling of herbs in that thymeframe, but I could easily.

Have you ever given or received a Spicy Kancho? In Japan, if you're making chili with your buds, you always need to watch the guy slicing the habaneros, because he can usually administer the Spicy Kancho to at least four dudes before the capsaicin wears off and it just becomes a regular Kancho. It might sound like fun but honestly it gets a bit tiresome, not to mention expensive, because after each Spicy Kancho the whole gang has to do a shot of tequila from the guy's asscrack.
