My rice cooker has a steel cut oats option and it legit made the best, most perfect oatmeal I've ever had. I never though it could be that good.

What about lunch

>> No.19779793

>simmer half a cup of quinoa for 15 min
>chop some almonds and toast 'em
>throw the two together with a packet of natto, and flavor with mustard, rice wine vinegar, plenty of black pepper, and whatever heat source you like
Take about 20 minutes and is a pretty healthy breakfast that scratches the cereal itch. Sounds a bit weird but it's pretty yummy!

what brand of oats do you buy? i thought it didn't matter until i started eating them because i really liked kroger's generic quick oats, they stayed kind of loose and firm boiled in milk, but i bought another generic brand's quick oats and they were gluey, soft and disgusting as fuck cooked the same way. whole grain cut oats are good but i want a nice chewy quick or rolled oat to use for baking and cereal

Half oats, half chia seeds, milk, sugar, yoghurt, frozen blueberries. It's amazing. Like pudding for breakfast.

A single bowl of oats should not require a full night to prepare. Overnight oats are fucking retarded and for lazy, coddled faggots.
