Honestly? It's actually pretty good if you don't order the weird-ass "funny" burgers. At least where I live. The best burger I've ever had was a normal burger cheddar + BBQ sauce + bacon on brioche bread and stringshoe fries.

It was expensive, but goddamn worth it. I eat it like every two months.

Sort of, but it was mostly a takeaway place and was actually pretty great. They had a smoker out the back and did pulled pork and brisket burgers which are extremely rare here (australia). Prices weren't that bad either but they were competing with a bigger and more established place with the same target market just down the street in a boring residential suburb so they went out of business in a couple years.

Is it just me being on the spectrum, or doesn't it seem weird people don't give owners flack for such copypasta unoriginality at the price and venue? Are they generally well-liked just as a place for a good burg, compared to diners or fast food?
If I'm going out to eat I'm generally looking for something I cannot cook at home or is very well done - these burger places can get the second right most of the time... but so can a much cheaper diner or myself within a few minutes at home for me or someone else.

I wish I could buy steak tartare burgers, with a fried egg instead of a raw egg, and seasoned with salt and msg. And maybe a slice of cheese and a few pieces of crispy American bacon.
A high fat content works best for cooked hamburgers, but uncooked, a low fat content tastes much better.

Yeah, they were all the rage in the early 2010s. It was the height of the "epic bacon" era and the whole "Ron Swanson" performative affected masculinity was in vogue. I remember going on a fate with my (now x) girlfriend and ordering an extra hoppy IPA and an "epic meat" burger that iirc had pulled pork, bacon (of course) and a fried egg. I had just turned 21 so I was so excited and feeling "adult".

The beer was bitter to the point of being undrinkable and room temp to boot (something about that being the brittish style). The burger was awful, I still remember the hockey puck of "pulled pork" that was somehow both dry and greasey and being repulsed by it. My gf was also an annoying "lol so randum" girl who later trooned out. I was grumpy and complained and my gf got mad at me for "ruining date night". I often loom back on that night as a turning point in my life where if the burger and/or beer were better my life could have been very different. I could have been a soiboi dating a troon. 300 pounds and up to my man-tits in funko pops. Luckiky, my life turned out different. So in a way, I'm thankful that burger was so shitty

Fat bitch hipster waitress in a too small yellow sun dress told me I smelled like weed and was very rude and short to me. Then she made a big to do about my ID and checking with her manager to make sure it wasn’t a fake. She started going off on a speech about all the special crafty wafty beer they had and I cut her off and asked for a pitcher of the cheapest American lager on the menu. Then she slammed a food menu down in front of me while politely placing menus in front of my other party members. I stood up and said something like “You’re a rude and unpleasant woman. Fuck you” and walked out. In her defense I had just smoked a joint and had been chainsmoking ciggies all day so I did smell like an ashtray. But the place shouldn’t have looked like a dive and intentionally appropriated dive bar aesthetics when they really just wanted well to do grad students and PhD candidates who wanted to experience a dive without lowering themselves and actually going to one. That was like 15 years ago and the place is still open and still doing the same safe dive bar shit. Never went back and if anyone ever suggests going I fly into a rage and rant about hipsters stealing working class culture and repackaging it into something safe and sterile for rich whites and their beloved BIPOCs to enjoy without the threat of dangerous blue collar white men. That’s literally, actually all you’re doing. You just have a lower bar because apparently a $50 dinner once in a while would require you to take out a loan.
>when you can't even afford your own superyacht complete with cooking crew
The absolute cheapest coffee you can get is shit. Preground grocery store brand is like Taco Bell. You’re saying that your choice to get a bulk bean at $5/lb makes you wholly better than those buying Walmart brand preground. Technically correct, but the difference between your coffee and someone who imported their bean from a single source will be night and day. The fact that my imported Colombian bean cost $25/lb and not $3000/lb like auction coffee doesn’t mean my bean isn’t substantially better than yours. Google law of diminishing returns if you get confused again, but I can promise you the curve doesn’t start at Taco Bell price + 10%. Cope harder.

That's not even remotely written like an AI. AI can't generate unofficial words like 'ciggies' and 'crafty wafty' without explicit prompting that then affects the entire output in other ways.

Nufag zoomers can only repeat simple memes so when they see an essay post, they become confused and frightened. They’re incapable of actually writing anything of substance.

My job buys us lunch at these spots, they’re usually always smash burgers. The best one came from a restaurant attached to a brewery, it tasted fresh and the fries were surprisingly fried in beef tallow. It costed $28

the quality of tomato on the average burger is absolutely awful. I have never once in my life even at a steakhouse with a $30 burger had a proper heirloom tomato on a burger if it has tomato, it's always watery trash.
