You literally have to do this right now if you're a Russian content creator on any platform. Your options are either opening every video with slava ukraini or abandoning your heritage altogether. If westerners get even an inkling that you're a "proud Russian" you're going to be canceled immediately and chased off the platform unless you upload a video of yourself burning a picture of Putin.

She has never tried to hide her heritage. I even remember several videos of russian dishes on her channel.

That's probably her husband's surname. There's nothing wrong with a married woman changing her surname. Kenji Lopez-Alt adopted his spic wife's surname, lol

I guess I'm just retarded then because when I first started watching her I assumed she was French. I did about 5 minutes of research on her to see where she's from and I couldn't see it written anywhere on her website or YouTube channel. A few months later I saw someone on /ck/ mention that she's from Russia and that's when it all started making sense.
