Some other old ass dishes, like pasta with chickpeas, pasta with gourd or pasta with cauliflower, have been replaced by or supplemented with New World ingredients (tomatoes have drastically improved pasta with chickpeas and pasta with cauliflower while squashes are generally tastier than gourds; also, pasta with squash is now commonly made with chilli in it, another New World ingredient)

Don't forget the hemp seed in there. Their "seven spice" mix is majority but even spices and they count sesame seed twice. I forget what the seventh one is, but six of those "spices" are black sesame, white sesame, poppy and hemp seeds as well as mandarin zest and the faintest bit of cayenne powder.
