Cookware general

What kind of pots and pans do you use anon?
I'm looking for a cheap triple-ply stainless steel pan, any recs?

4 different size pots made from stainless steel.
One stainless steel pan.
One cast iron pan.
One carbon steel wok.
One emailled cast iron dutch oven
One nonstick pan.

Make sure the stainless cookware has some material inside for heat distribution. A pot of mine has a copper layer inside, while a pan has a aluminium layer.

The pan I have is from Amazon. Not the store, but the company, it's their commercial line.
If you look up "Amazon commercial pan" it should pop up. I got the one with aluminium, which I would recommend because the better heat spreading is worth the slightly higher cost. I got one that was sent back from warehouse, so in total the pan cost me like 20€, which was a steal - I didn't even find anything wrong with it other than the packaging being slightly scuffed. It's a great pan, not much to say other than that. Very great for the price, aesthetically it's nothing special though.

Cuisinart if you want cheap. An 8" fry pan will cost you $30. They come in nonstick and regular stainless.

I fell for the cast iron meme and now I use it almost everyday.
The learning curve is a bit steep but I don’t regret anything.
If only I could stop talking about it…

Nothing sticks to a cast iron because it's always well seasoned; that's literally the reason why everyone loves cast iron becasue you can do anything with it; cast iron skillets fixed my marriage

Just use enough butter and heat in a well seasoned pan.
I must admit that I still sometimes get stuck eggs.

3 various sized ss stock pots 4qt-8qt
3 various sized ss sauce pots 2qt-4qt
3 cast iron pans 8in-12in

yes, I have too many pans.
I use the cast iron and nonstick the most, but I do love the stainless steel and use it whenever I can.

I have a basic set of copper-clad stainless steel that cost about $500, and I have a fancy french copper fry pan that cost around the same amount. I prefer cooking with the clad SS.
