Why does light beer exist? If you want the taste of alcohol without the calories from the alcohol just get non alcoholic beer? You cant get drunk off this stuff

not everyone drinks to get hammered

Maintenance drinking, just slam a couple glasses of liquor or a bottle of wine then switch to light beers. At 4-4.5% abv you won't get much drunker but you won't lose your buzz either and its got enough water to stop you from being totally dehydrated. It's also good if you want to drink literally all day, its easy to wake up at 2pm and crack into a 24 rack of light beers and roll it until 4am. Not possible with something stronger. I think almost no one is caring about the Calories, it's about the function of low abv with little to no added sugar.

theres stuff at 3.5%

By five I'm getting drunk.

Sure, adjust to your tolerance. 4.2 is my sweet spot for pure maintenance, if I go down to 4 or under I start to lose the buzz and if I go up to about 4.5 I start feeling it more.

not everyone is 300 lbs and needs to drink half a handle of vodka to feel a buzz

I want the taste of alcohol and the feel of alcohol, but I also want to keep my drinking at a decent pace.

That said, I consider anything under 10% ABV to be light.

I drink those on my lunch break at work. since its light it masks the beer smell

Light beer is stupid and tastes disgusting. I don't know why people drink it. He'll, I don't understand why people will drink like a 24 pack of light beer a day. That's so nasty

>> No.19673099

>>19672959
the taste is so inoffensive that most people can stomach it. how many times have you heard someone complain about how gross beer is? probably many. this stuff is for them. also people with a drinking problem who have learned that they shouldn't be getting as drunk as they actually want to. I can't get a buzz off it anymore but I could when I was a teenager smashing a 30 rack with a couple of frens.

Everyone knows and they think it's fucking based because only high test alpha chad alcoholics can get away with actively drinking at work

wow, this is literally me. that's the trick, with light beer i can drink as much and as fast as i want to without getting ridiculously shit wasted and fucking up my life any further

Upvoted. Liquor and wine are too easy to black out on and do retarded shit while a 12 pack of light beer is a great way to maintain a steady coherent drunkeness

dehydration+headache =/= drunk.
I can smash through 12 pack of 4-5% 'light' lager that has a tenth of the carbs of regular lager, and not be as miserable as I would a fee hours later/waking up if it was a six pack of 5-7% stout/ale while still being deep into the realm of 'intoxicated'.
Also its cheap. Cheaper than bottled water lmao

And it'd be 1800+ even if its a plain coors banquet.

Nobody eats big ass meals (or meals at all really) on days when they're drinking to get drunk right? That sounds like a fast way to ruin your night

Why not?
Combined with nexium and metamucil, you shouldn't have a whole lot to worry about.

Not very economical for an alcoholic. Just drink pruno underneath your kitchen sink and redose when needed.

A six pack of light beer pints (like the one in your pic) is a six pack of normal 12oz regular beers worth of alcohol

it's not that big of a difference. you can still drink them fast enough where your BAC is rising and your metabolism is saturated with alcohol

light beer mostly exists so geezers can show their wives
>look honey it's light beer
>I'm not actually 6 servings of alcohol deep at 10am on a sunday

I definitely can and I'm an alcoholic. Also kind of a lightweight. I imagine if youre the size of an average american you'd need a lot more than me though
