They had nacho fries in the early 90's that were really good. They weren't the shitty seasoned fries they have now, but more like loaded nachos using fries regular fries. They also weren't the same as the ones they have in Canada. This is back when they added olives and green onions to certain items. The 7-layer burrito was also really good when done right; it was just almost never done right.

I put the three cheese blend all over the flatbread, threw it in the steamer, laid out all three Dorito shell flavors next to each other, and built it up Cheesy Gordita Crunch style, plus rice and nacho cheese. It was a triple Cheesy Gordita Crunch. It was absolutely phenomenal. I would pay stupid money to be able to craft that up again.

I used to get baked and have Taco Bell probably at least once a month, maybe even close to once a week at one point. Now? I eat it maybe once or twice a year, tops. Finally had a chance to try the bbq chicken and chipotle chicken flatbreads. While the appearance is sad and looking nothing like the previous flatbreads they were decent. My all time favorite item was the pulled chicken soft taco, I got 10 at a time. They pulled them from the menu in 2020 and now the closest thing is the chicken chalupa, which is a pathetic amount of food for $6.50.
