Starts out as "this is fucking disgusting, I could never get addicted to something this vile tasting, smelling and feeling" and turns into "eh, winnie blacks are my favourite, so they must be just an acquired taste"
I at least have not found a single good reason why I ever smoked (did so between 16 and 26) that isn't just being addicted, even though I had my best moments ever while smoking a cig on a cold winter morning, or after the gym, or sitting outside with a mate getting away from the trouble of some randy's party
Now I'm getting too nostalgic

I also quit right when vapes got popular like 8 years ago and you were a fag if you smoked them. I definitely enjoyed when I smoked but did get to a point where I realized I was wasting tons of money, feeling like shit, and smelling like for 0 reason other than addiction. Smoked from 14-21 and don't regret quitting, favorite smokes were Marlboro menthol smooth 100s and camel wides

My buddies mom was a heavy smoker and eas the first person I had ever seen switch to the Blu cigs around then, years later is when I noticed the bubble gum monkey farts vape juice type of nonsense really take off

Vape user here. Started off smoking and smoking is definitely a better high but vapes are just more convenient and cheaper. What sucks about vaping is they've somehow convinced zoomers it's cool. I've met 18yo and younger who ask me about it and tell me how they want to start vaping. Sucks to have to tell them vaping is gay cause they all have the same response
