I've never been to a Margaritaville (it's a novelty chain, not really a place that people go to eat if they aren't on vacation at Disneyland or whatever), but would just like to clear up a common misconception about burgers in America. The only time we eat well-done burgers is when we're getting fast food (not as common as foreigners imagine), or cooking for small children (pretty big overlap with the first category). When we go out to restaurants we always order burgers to temp, like you would a steak, and the most common orders are medium-rare and medium. If you ordered anything over medium you did not get the real experience. It's hard to tell from your image, but it definitely looks overcooked.

no you cook them to completion. does that mean it won't be juicy and delicious? depends. will you brine, marinade, wash etc., correctly?
