Agreed. It helps to think about how the less fortunate in present or past would react to our variety and access to food. We truly are blessed in this way.
It also helps to put yourself in survival situations out in the woods for a week or two (potentially dangerous). Or, if you're like me, think back to when you were starving growing up.
Hunger and perspective really are the best spices, and I wish more knew how fortunate they are.
