Do you really have to season through every step of a dish?

Different seasonings need to be added at different times, depending on the dish.
>>19615404
Some tiktok whore who made videos about how black "seasoning" is just adding dried versions of actual spices, and is unnecessary if you're adding fresh versions of the same shit.
Like you don't need garlic powder if you just add garlic. And, in general, if you're using a variety of ingredients (not just pan frying a plain chicken breast) then you don't need nearly as much seasoning in general.

Salting multiple times saves time and makes it easier to adjust the final flavor of the meal but it's not necessary.

>> No.19616738

season at the beginning to draw out water and slow the cooking, this helps prevent burning
season in the middle when you add your main ingredient
season at the end to taste

white cooking and black cooking is the same though, it's weird as fuck as a person from a culture with real food to see you retards chimping out at each other over perceived differences in your cooking style. all of it is artificial and tastes like depression and chemicals.

No. It's a restaurant technique, because they eyeball everything and always rush. Repeated seasoning averages out the errors.
