That is the intention, yes, but unfortunately people's intentions are not always pure.

Someone could literally open the lid and close it again while the carton is on the shelf, and you'd have no way of knowing until it's too late. I have heard of this actually happening.

fried in lard so hot that the eggwhite puffs up and crispy brown when done, with the yolk still runny, dashes of soy sauce onto the still-hot pan that makes it sizzle and caramelizes part of it
this is the ultimate egg, no contest, btfo every other kind of egg.

the only wrong way to enjoy an egg is poached. and frankly that's acceptable in some applications, especially if you have a hollandaise or something. boiled and poached are bland on their lonesome.

for me it's always cooked in bacon grease or butter, scrambled, over-med with toast to dip in, or omelettes french, or country style.

Go get therapy and take meds, you sound like you have developed contamination OCD. You are causing yourself even more problems by attempting to live in a sterile bubble, in part due to heightened risk of asthma, allergies and autoimmune diseases. Your immune system needs to attack things, if it doesn't, it'll start attacking you. Long covid is a small amount of legitimate cases of post infection damage, and a substantially large amount of hypochondriac women who freak themselves out into having symptoms. The brain can do weird things when it's stressed out.

>Long covid is a small amount of legitimate cases of post infection damage

IT HAS BEEN ESTIMATED THAT UP TO 40% OF ALL AMERICANS ARE ALREADY SUFFERING FROM A LONG COVID-RELATED DISABILITY. Does that sound like a "small amount" to you?

>Your immune system needs to attack things, if it doesn't, it'll start attacking you.

That's precisely why we have the vaccine; it triggers and trains the immune system.

And I'm not stressed out. No OCD. Just still taking these things seriously because COVID is in no way over; the only people acting irrationally are those that think a deadly virus just disappeared overnight when it became more profitable to report on the Ukraine war instead.

I always check the eggs before buying (wobble them around a bit, maybe take some out and put them back) to see if any of them are broken, everyone I know does this, I had no idea it wasn't a universal thing.

Anyways, you shouldn't be worried about outside contamination any more than if eggs are sold in a sealed container, after all it comes from a chicken's cloaca (the same hole they shit through) which is a source of salmonella, so the outside is basically contaminated wither way, however, heat from cooking kills the bacteria that might enter when you crack an egg.

The only situation I could see disinfection being useful is if you're going to be eating them raw.

40%.

And it has been estimated that that percentage could be doubled by 2025 seeing how each subsequent bout of COVID increases the risk of long covid complications.

I don't think 80% of the population is in that poor health.

I won't even ask sources for your 40% estimate, there's no point. We're already heavily disabled and living dead in your opinion, and I don't think you're willing to believe otherwise. Good luck anon.

I'll only say this. Look up statistics of obesity, morbid obesity, just how many people not only in USA, but globally, are in poor health as is. Underlying diseases, especially diabetes. Look up rates of vitamin D deficiency. Then look up who exactly gets hospitalised in the first place, or suffering from a heavier case of covid; obese, elderly people, either malnourished or deficient in vitamin D. Covid is just doing cleanup on people that are in no way capable of surviving even a basic cold without medical care.

>> No.19596316

Look up literally any credible source on this. People were dying in droves, even young, otherwise healthy people. And now we're seeing unprecedented levels of new lifelong disability among all age groups. Grow up and stop being an edgy alt right sheep.
