19542234 No.19542234 [Reply] [Original]

>Eggs Benedict is a common American breakfast or brunch dish, consisting of two halves of an English muffin, each topped with Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce.
>Hollandaise sauce is a mixture of egg yolk, melted butter, and lemon juice.
Yo dawg, we heard you like eggs, so we put egg on your egg so you can egg while you egg.

I know you're joking, but crabs are a common food in many cultures. Even the US has a regional dish of crab eggs called "she-crab soup."

>>19542992
I'd like it more if crab vs ham/canbac was the only difference but people always want to do too much, like adding shit to the hollandaise or fucking swapping it out entirely.
Weirdly, lobster benedict doesn't get that same treatment. The hollandaise is hollandaise and that's the end of it.

Anyone else feel like the Hollandaise sauce doesn't do any favors to the Ham and English Muffin? I feel like the ham is usually so light and the english muffin's crispiness doesn't mesh well with the thick sauce.
I'm genuinely thinking like, a loose meat hamburger patty with a thick bread on the bottom for soaking up the juice.

man there's a little rest stop in the middle of nowhere along the Monaro highway, somewhere between Canberra and Cooma. there's a latrine drop toilet there. Just a big steel pipe you shit and piss into.

I had vindaloo the night before and it tasted offf but I ate the whole thing and I literally almost diarrhear'd all over my car seat but managed to get to the rest stop at about 7:30am and wrecked the whole thing, there was shit all over the pipe and some on the floor.

driving back from Cooma at about 4pm the latrine was closed and wrapped up in caution tape kek

aah... pooh stories.

I like a slice of raw, lightly salted tomato instead of meat between the poached egg and bread, but only in season. Otherwise a slice of hard cheese
