>> No.19539180

Just the other day I saw a guy buying his very young child a monster so coke isn’t that bad

I'll frequently buy my toddler shit she can't have just because she wants to hold the box/can, I'm not actually letting her have it, I just eat/drink it later when she gets bored of it.

>worrying about dental

>> No.19539391

I think most of us know at least one person who was raised by parents who didn't care about tooth health, so they grew up having bad teeth issues for the rest of their lives even after their baby teeth fell out, because you just know these bad dental habits don't stop when their permanent teeth grow in.
Probably one of the worst things an unfit parent can do, just lifelong medical issues that could have easily been avoided with little effort.

so you want him to get scurvy and have brittle bones from lack of calcium absorption.
sugar is fine for kids because they're still growing and need the easily accessible energy, it's why breast milk is sweet.

no that would be opening a line of credit in the kids name and torching it.

>> No.19539405

>>19539395
You can do that?
I assume it'd be impossible before the kid is 18, I can't imagine credit companies issuing credit that can't even be paid back since the kid can't legally own property to be repossessed or work any legal jobs to have wages garnished from.
Also probably some sort of legal protection, I assume opening and using credit in someone else's name is fraud, even if they're your kid.

Giving kids caffeine and sugar is a recipe for more problems

>> No.19539455

what's honestly abhorrent to me is you're considered a bad parent for not letting your kid have soda

ugh how can you be so restrictive, your kids are going to grow up to hate you you know?

>> No.19539463

What is really abhorrent is new parents go to parenting classes which are just the jews telling you to ruin your kid

my aunt took on the "it's their choice" model where they can choose what they want and will make the right choices on their own

Can confirm, when they hired me to teach parenting classes they said I had to be Jewish (and I had to get a letter of recommendation from my Rabbi). First thing I was taught while interning was to use my Jewish powers of subliminal messaging (rubbing my hands together really fast) so the parents would feed their kids beyond meat burgers.
