There was a African themed restaurant in my area that I was interested in trying. I heard good things, but the place was out of business before I could give it a chance.
Mexican, Thai, Indian, and Chinese places just tend to stay around longer, and every other style I'm interested in tends to be owned by white people.

I cant say Ive even known if I was eating at a Black owned restaurant or not. I do like soul food but I dont really associate it with black people, its comfort food. Also, Ive tried multiple forms of greens made by both black people and white people and honestly white people have made it better so far.

Only ate about half and left the rest to rot in the fridge. She probably wouldn't know what the fuck it is either if you put that in front of her. I have eaten frozen jamaican patties and those are pretty good. Not sure if one spot even exists in my large city. Whenever I search for jamaican restaurant near me, this place called "Trap House Kitchen" pops up in the results (trap house means drug house in the ghetto). Sounds trashy to me so I don't think i'm going there.
