That is not a carbonara. It seems as if you added a lot of fucking vegetables... Minced meat? Oh well, you seem to have opted for the "cream and bacon" carbonara which is NOT the true carbonara.

You must use bacon, pecorino/parmesan and egg yolks, also freshly grated black pepper. You fry the bacon and cook the pasta meanwhile. You mix three to four egg yolks with the grated cheese and reserve it for later. Once the pasta is done you remove it and add part of the cooking water to the pan with the bacon, in which you also add the pasta. Now, the pan must be hot but make sure the fire is off, stir the pasta with the bacon until it's very hot but not cooking. One good trick is that if you stop hearing the sound of cooking or if it severely reduced in intensity you add in then the yolks and cheese mix from before and start mixing it well. It will melt and cook with the residual heat from the pasta and if you've done it correctly you won't have an omelet but instead a very creamy spaghetti. Dress it with a large amount of grated black pepper, as it is the thing that gives name to this dish and there you have it, carbonara.
