>enough time to eat
I mean there's plenty of time to eat, just not enough time to cook. Go to the grocery store, cook, and cleanup takes a lot of time. It's also significantly easier to find recipes for a single male with no friends, family, girlfriend, or wife. You can make a regular recipe that feeds 4-6, and not have to mess with it and modify it so it just feeds one.

Meal prep is the biggest modern food meme. Why would you willingly eat 4-5 day old microwaved leftovers? Why would you do this to yourself?

Either eat enough in the morning/evening to not have to subject yourself to this or just eat an energy bar or something. Or have the decency to make yourself something every morning that's at least only a few hours old instead of 70 hours old.

I weep for you OP. I don't know why you fell for the meme, but imagining you eat that sloppa with an extra 5 days of aging tacked on to it while huddled over your little lunchbox makes me weep. Don't do this to yourself. This is the food and cooking board, /x/ is the other way.

I can't believe you've fallen this far. How does anyone live this way? Making good food is one of the few great pleasures in the world, and you're intentionally eating like a homeless man.

I could settle for you pre-roasting the chicken in the oven so it doesn't go bad, but why intentionally eat sloppa vegetables? Why eat refrigerated, old rice? I can feel your depression from here. If you want to get out of your rut, you can't eat this way. Learn to love flavors again. You might think this is responsible, but this is sadness given form.

It takes 30 minutes a day to cook a nice meal, and even less if you have the chicken prepped ahead of time. Experiment. Live a little. Don't eat sloppa daily like this, especially if you work from home and don't have to. You could be slow cooking something all day! You should be eating like a king.

I have removed rice from meal prepping entirely, because when you refrigerate rice, it begins to ferment, and causes me and everyone else to get massively bloated. The only think non-fresh rice is good for, is for making fried rice.
