Let’s settle this.
Aussie bacon and egg roll, British bacon sarnie or the NYC baconeggncheese?
Which is the best breakfast sandwich?

What are the actual differences?
I'm tempted to just say NYC because murrica but what makes an NYC sandwich (american bacon, fried eggs, cheddar) different from an aussie or british version?

I'm assuming the bacon sarnie has HP sauce on it. Any word on the full toppings of your contest sandwiches? What about toasted status? The level the bacon is cooked?

so, what, literally bacon vs bacon and egg vs bacon egg and cheese?
fucking stupid, the third wins

>> No.19354362

Never had one in Britainistan, never had one in NY (despite living there at one time) and never been to Australia at all. I like the ones I've gotten from carts in Philadelphia. BEC on a long roll (hoagie roll?). The eggs are fried omelette style, stuffed with cheese, topped with 2-4 strips of cooked bacon the the roll is placed on top and the whole thing flipped over like when those same carts make cheesesteaks or grilled chicken hoagies later in the day. Good stuff.

NYC the eggs are omelette style, Aussie they are fried. Aussie uses back bacon instead of belly bacon. Aussie has bbq sauce. I think the NYC has hot sauce

>> No.19354393

>>19354384
>omelette vs fried
depends on freshness
if you're getting the eggs fresh off the griddle with slightly runny yolk that's superior but omelette style steams in the foil with the bacon and cheese and is good for a while
>back bacon vs belly bacon
belly is clearly superior and I will hear no arguments
>bbq sauce
sounds overwhelming, is it tomato based or vinegar based?

Bruh....this is kinda grim though. Just bacon on 2 slices of bread?

I mean it gets the job done if you're hungry I suppose. Pair it with a black coffee just to get through the day Lol

Can't be beat if the bacon is thick and the bread is soft and fresh.

Thing I like about that pic is the bun (looks like a brioche) and the egg is sunny side up which would burst and drip the yolk into the sandwich as you're eating it. Is that the Aussie one?

I found this one which features "HP style sauce"

I've never had HP sauce....would that be good on a breakfast sandwich? Maybe this is the breakthrough flavor combo America needs

You can make it even more filling by slapping some lard on the bread. There are few things that make me happier than the feeling of warm grease and egg dripping down my arms as I eat.
