Why aren't you eating canned fruit? My favorite is undoubtedly the peach halves.

I prefer frozen fruit, personally. I tend to sprinkle berries onto things and make smoothies with a whole bunch of different fruit, and opening up a whole can just for a small portion as opposed to using a resealable bag just isn't that practical for me.

The only canned fruit I keep around are tomatoes, and that's largely because crushed tomatoes already have the skin peeled so I don't need to blanche them which I hate doing.

My father is a fan of putting these cans in the freezer and drinking the syrup

Either the fruit cocktail is fancy for social gatherings or the peach halves are just good

You must not be very old

For me it's the peach slices. The fruit cocktail one would be pretty good too if it didn't have the pears and cherries in it.
