is 'dont lay down after eating' a meme? one of my greatest joys in life is lying down after a meal, but sometimes it triggers acid reflux and i can only lay on my left side or my back after eating. will this change as i get older?

its eating a meal before bed that makes my stomach and throat feel gross around 8am while still asleep.

If you keep doing something that triggers acid reflux then it could get worse over time. You could recline so you're not lying completely flat and probably be okay though.

I basically starve all day so I can eat a giant 1,700 meal around 8pm, then lay my fat bloated ass on the couch and watch movies until I fall asleep.

hey man, just checking up on you since you seemed pretty uneasy yesterday. You feeling less worried about all this now? BTW crohn's isn't so bad if you live in Canada. (They) pay for your meds, and you don't pay any of the $12k/year for Remicade
