Are Cheerios actually good for you? Furthermore, are any cereals actually healthy?

>> No.19319431

>>19319420
no

>> No.19319449

I don't know if it's healthy, but bran flakes and grape nuts are fortified with vitamins and have a lot of fiber to help you poo easy.

Cheerios were shown to have tons of leftover pesticides in them.

>every country in the world uses pesticides
>"DUDE PESTICIDES BAD"
>"DUDE CANCER LMAO"
>absolutely zero proof of cheerios causing cancer or illness
let me guess, you saw trump eating cheerios and now you're mad?

basically any brand breakfast cereal has way too much fucking sugar in it for human consumption

honey nut? fuck no
anything without added sugar is fine but don't fall for the marketing

Nothing “extruded” is good for you.

Can someone put "me" somewhere on the cat, please?

no, cereal is all bad, milled oats (the kind that take 15 minutes to cook) might be the best option, but they are also inflammatory and give you gas.

>> No.19319920

My box of Lucky Charms says it's full of vitamins and fiber so I guess that's healthy

>> No.19319983

>>19319420
it’s just grain mush, faggots say extrusion magically transforms it into cancer but they say that about literally everything. it’s simple carbs, they can be a part of a healthy diet

Commercial breakfast cereals? In moderation, yes, but in surplus no.
If you're referring to cereals like oats, corn, and barley then yes. Oats and barley are easy enough to get and are best sautéed. Corn you have a lot of options for but grilling and boiling will get you the best results.

Cereals can be healthy if they are low in sugar and high in fiber. Cheerios are a good option because they are low in sugar and high in fiber.

why do people vociferously defend their ultra-processed slop? is it because you grew up with it and you can't separate it from your childhood memories? i grew up eating pop-tarts for breakfast because my parents didn't really cook, but i don't eat them as an adult because they're bereft of nutrition and full of sugar. i just can't comprehend it. do people just have no interest in taking care of themselves?

For the same reason they defend all their other rubbish. They defend their tribe and its symbols. You just got a new tribe where you defend [insert new symbols]. Would you ditch your smartphone for the environment? You definitely don't need it at all. At all.

>> No.19321726

>>19321723
You actually need a smartphone to function is modern society. The internet is no longer optional for most people living in post-industrial societies.

Cheerios being "heart healthy" has to be one of the biggest marketing scams in the last 40 years. There's nothing special about Cheerios you can't get from just eating regular oatmeal (aside form taste).

>> No.19321930

If your body is starving for fat and carbs then eating a bowl of cereal with milk is probably very healthy.

Dog-lovers base their whole case on these commonplace, servile, and plebeian qualities, and amusingly judge the intelligence of a pet by its degree of conformity to their own wishes.

Catlovers escape this delusion, repudiate the idea that cringing subservience and sidling companionship to man are supreme merits, and stand free to worship aristocratic independence, self-respect, and individual personality joined to extreme grace and beauty as typified by the cool, lithe, cynical, and unconquered lord of the housetops.

The dog barks and begs and tumbles to amuse you when you crack the whip. That pleases a meekness-loving peasant who relishes a stimulus to his sense of importance.

And just as inferior people prefer the inferior animal which scampers excitedly because somebody else wants something,

so do superior people respect the superior animal which lives its own life and knows that the puerile stick-throwings of alien bipeds are none of its business and beneath its notice.
