Any good pastry shops near you? Bonus points if they’re French, British, or Italian.

I went to an amazing bakery in Richmond, Virginia last month. They have a wood-fired oven inside the bakery and the croissants were delicate and crunchy.

It's not near me sadly, but definitely worth going to if you are in the area.

There's a small chain called Fox in the Snow in my city that's got 3 locations, but it's more of a cafe. Their pastries are great, they have good coffee, and they make a great egg sandwich

Sausage rolls are the meme pick. I almost always get the sausage bean and cheese melt and sometimes with a chicken bake

My neighbor is a French chef that has worked at two Michelin starred restaurants. Now he has his own shop. Needless to say, he brings some treats over every now and then. Pretty good deal.

The bakery near me sells pastries, they're alright but nothing special. They give you a bunch of them for free if you shop late enough since they're not going to be fit to sell the next day. Also I have a mild crush on one of the older women working there.

Why are Aussies, who have never left their prison island, so sure their sweaty desert somehow has the best pastries and that they invented meat pies? You are deluded

>Big bakery down the road
>Does pizza, subs, coffee etc
>Lots of pastries and cakes
>Great apple fritters, brownies, and pineapple upside down cake
>every thing else tastes bready.
>pizza, sub bread, even doughnuts all have a similar taste.
>italian sub had good ingredients but the bread just overwhelmed
>also that crumbly texture instead of chewy

Can't understand the popularity in town when all the bread is so similar. thanks for reading my post Redd*t, upvote!

I lived in Paris for a while, a few years ago. White, black, brown, yellow – they all stink. Some of stale sweat, some of halitosis, some of shit. It seems the national pastime of France is to stink.
