Lads I need help, I've been death gripping ice cubes for 4 hours and it still burns as if I'm jacking off with melted glass, how do I make the pain stop
On the bright side the poppers came out great, and taste amazing

Do what this anon says. They're called "ghost peppers" because you only feel the spice for a second, then it vanishes like a ghost. Try them for a gentler experience.

Picrel. Or something like it. Capsaicin is an oil. Use something specifically to remove oil. Or you could fingerbang your ass with butter. Your choice. Pussy.

>> No.19293478

>>19293070
Yeah I think they're a little bit more expensive since, you get more flavor and sweet profile and it is only half as spicy as a jalapeño. Overall a very good pepper.

Are you sure you're not giving yourself frostbite? Ice on your skin will hurt too. It might even make the burning last longer as being cold will make your body take more time to clear it out of your skin.

It hurts but there's no actual damage being done. You just need to let it run its course. The best thing to do now is just trying to stay calm and realizing it'll be over soon.

Jalapenos, well peppers in general, but jalapenos in particular are prone to cross-polination
Sometimes they're about as spicy as a bell pepper but other times they can be in serrano or cayenne pepper levels of heat
If your jalapenos are round with tapered stem ends and blunt tips they will be less spicy
If they have squared off stem ends and pointy tips they will be spicier

I wasn't fucking around. There are three reasons why I have a bunch of this in my kitchen.
1) to get oil or fat off my hands
2) to get capsaicin off my hands
3) to quickly spread on any major oil stains on my clothes

I have provided the solution. Any further pain is on you.

Nah, the oils will get in to places you can't clean unless you do a legit deep cleaning.

OP, get a bowl of lukewarm water, add a small amount of dishsoap, and soak your hands in cycles. You're just gonna have to tank it. Take some painkillers if you have any around.
